API 6D Conduit Gate Valve

Gate Valves are general purpose valve types mainly used in systems that require full opening and full closure. They provide uniform flow in the fully open position. Local pressure loss is very low.

  • Pressure loss is very low, providing a uniform flow and precise closure. Seat surfaces are parallel, metal + soft seat, sealing rings are bi-directional – bottom spring pressed and fully leak-proof.
  • They can be controlled with handwheel, gear control, electric and/or pneumatic actuator. Slide structure is in the form of flat plate (blade) and precision ground.
  • Two-way sealing feature.
  • Control and other features are the same as API 600 Gate Valves.
