They are products used as sediment traps in fluid systems to prevent sedimented fluids from damaging other equipment in the system.

  • The filter is a flat or truncated cone-shaped filter in an outer cage reinforced against crushing and flexing.
  • The filter inlet port has a collar suitable for the gasket pressing surface of the “nominal size flange” gasket on the line, and the conical filter is placed in the pipe and the collar at the inlet port is tightened between the two flanges to act as a gasket. This type of filters are preferred in some pipe equipment.

Filter Cleaning: The conical filter is taken out of the line together with the pipe part in which it is placed and cleaned.
